Choosing your honeymoon destination is a tricky one. You may have always had an idea of where your dream destination would be, but that fantasy may not fit your wallet. There are plenty of cheaper alternatives to remote, exotic islands, and locations that are much more practical. Here are some tips.
First, try to go where your money will go farther. Many places, including South America, have a great conversion rate for the dollar. This means you will spend less on every day expenses, such as restaurants, or surfing lessons, and have just as much fun without the waste.
Another good tip for booking your honeymoon is choosing a date that isn’t in the high season. If you can, try to get out of the peak seasons, and take advantage of the cheap airline tickets and accommodation rentals of the down season. This also means much less tourists you clog up the attractions, and more personal time with your new spouse.
Another helpful hint is to consider if an all inclusive is right for you. This is can save you considerably, compared to booking everything yourself separately.
