Best Planning Advice

There is nothing better than good wedding planning advice. Some brides were asked what was the best advice they received during their wedding planning, and this is their responses.
- Being strict with the “kids” policy. If you prefer to have an adults only wedding, then be sure you make the rules clear. Unless they are in your bridal party, no children allowed period. Don’t allow some parents to bring their children, and others not, as this can cause conflict. Choose a hotel with a day care service, or arrange for them to be watched at a family members home. And don’t feel guilty! It’s your day!
- Expect some no shows. Obviously they will RSVP this, but just be sure you are prepared for some “cant make it” calls. This isn’t personal, and especially if your wedding is outside of town, it just isn’t realistic for some guests. You may even get one or two guests that come with a plus one you didn’t expect, which can be a hassle when it comes to food, but it may even out your guest list to the number you expected in the first place.
- Order your postage online, to get the stamps you want at a discount price!
